Welcome to Raystown Outfitters where we bring you the beauty of Raystown Lake combined with  great hunting and amazing adventure. We are a family run business and are blessed to be nestled in the beautiful ridges of Raystown Lake.

ABOUT US

At Raystown Outfitters our goal is for you to feel like family while developing lifetime friendships and hunting monster bucks on our preserve.  If you prefer free range hunting, we offer some of the best in Pennsylvania. Our property is surrounded by additional sizable private property, thus reducing hunting pressure and allowing for a higher number of deer.  We plant food plots to keep the deer on the property and have ladder stands as well as enclosed stands with heat to keep you comfortable. Veteran hunters will enjoy our hunting, but we are ideally set up for new hunters, youth, and bow hunters.

Although Raystown Outfitters specializes in world class whitetail deer hunting in amazing scenery at an affordable price, we like to see clients continue the adventure.  Raystown Lake is a 28 mile long lake surrounded by 20,000 acres of land. Our area offers turkey hunting, fishing, pheasant hunting, atv riding, paint ball, dinner cruises, shooting, boat rental, hiking, scenic drives, airsoft, small game hunting and world class bicycling on dozens of miles of wooded trails.  Ask us about these activities and we can guide you or assist you with arrangements. If you plan your hunt when the leaves are changing color, you will see why so many people love Pennsylvania.

I have been passionate about hunting for over 40 years.  I particularly enjoy hunting dangerous game in Africa and hunting the western states.  Some highlights for me have included hunting cape buffalo in Botswana and mountain lion in Idaho.  For me it is about the adventure, the scenery, seeing new places, meeting new people, and of course spending time with family and friends.  I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and find that often the conversation ends up getting around to hunting. I find this common bond of sharing hunting stories leads to new friends and I look forward to hearing from you.
